Collin Addresses the Diocese - 08/07/24
What a great day (and what an honor)!
Collin was invited to Catholic Diocese this week to speak on the topic of the special needs’ community involvement in, and support from, the church.
He was able to prepare by typing his thoughts beforehand, and then speak to the group via his iPad. He then answered questions in real time, via facilitated communication, from his table-mates once he was sitting back down.
This was a moment of achievement, and recognition, and adding value to the community. Collin was happy and proud of himself. And so were we.
